Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH MUTTER It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear wife and mother on May 29, 2002, at the age of 56. Ediths memory will be fondly cherished by her husband Jack; sons, Justin, Jeff (Ramona) sister Grace Nedotiafko (Robert), brothers, David Skwarek (Marlene), and Charlie Skwarek (Jackie), and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by parents, Bertha Skwarek in 1993 and Martin Skwarek in 1998. Edith was born February 18, 1946 at the family farm in the Melnice district of Manitoba. Edith received her early education in the nearby communities of Winnipeg Beach and Gimli. In 1964, she commenced training to become a Registered Nurse at the Winnipeg General Hospital, graduating in 1967. In 1970, she was married to Jack Mutter and resided in the Crestview area since 1973. Most of Ediths nursing career was spent at Oakview Place Nursing Home, where she worked as an Assistant Head, and a Head Nurse until health problems forced her to retire in 1990. Despite suffering through a lingering illness, Edith became actively involved in church activities, including UCW at Crestview United Church. Gardening and cooking were a source of enjoyment to Edith in this time. Edith was a loving wife and mother, and cherished all family, friends, and co-workers. Ediths unwavering strength and optimism through her illness was a source of inspiration to all around her. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Clifford Yaffe, the Home TPN Program at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital, and the Nursing Staff at 7A West at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and compassion over the years. A celebration of her life will be held at Crestview United Church, 316 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Beth Rutherford officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations in memory of Edith Mutter may be made to the DASCH Foundation Inc., 3059 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3K 0W4. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
