Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY BELLA McGILL (nee McROBBIE) January 16, 1915 - May 29, 2002 Mary passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Tolbert; brother, Bill; and sister, Ina. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, son, David; daughter Shaela MaryLou; chosen son Barry Sharpe, and his children Cory, Robbie and Cindy; grandson, Kevin; granddaughters, Jodi, Erin, Barbaraellen; three great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Mary grew up in Carman and later lived in Roblin, MB, Melfort and Yorkton, SK. She and Tolbert returned to Carman in 1994. Mary was active in Rebekahs, Canadian Legion, the United Church, United Commercial Travellers and Sweet Adelines. Mary loved children and wherever she lived, her home was the gathering place for young people. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Marys philosophy of life was simple. Do no harm and at the end of the day count the good things you have done for people. In her later years, Mary appreciated the activities of Boyne Lodge and the family atmosphere provided by the caring staff. Funeral service was held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Saturday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment took place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Doyles Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
