Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY STRAUSKI (nee MAKSYMETZ) Peacefully on May 30, 2002, Mary passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son Thomas Strauski; daughter Helen Kemp (California) grandchildren, Steven, Paul, Diana, Marion, Jennifer and Thomas; several great-grandchildren and brother Alex Maksymetz. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Steve; her parents, Peter and Nellie Maksymetz; six brothers; two sisters and one granddaughter Lisa. She was born on August 25, 1912 in the village of Perviatych, Ukraine and moved to Canada soon after birth. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tom Strauski Jr., Daniel Wichert, Kerry Wichert, Jeff Wichert.
