ELISE SMITH (KRAMBLE)

ELISE SMITH (nee KRAMBLE) On Wednesday, May 29, 2002, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Elise, at the age of 52, went home to her heavenly Father. She was predeceased by her mother Jean Kramble (Brooks). Elise leaves behind to grieve her earthly passing her husband of 35 years, Brian; her father Charles Kramble; daughter Charlaine (Joel) and grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Jeffery, Michael and Elyssa; son Paul (friend Judy) and grandchild Jeremy; her brothers and sisters, Chuck (Leona) Kramble, Norman (Audrey) Kramble, Tom (Carol) Kramble, Jeannie Sutton, Judi Anne (Rob) Scott, Bunny (C-J) Dykstra, Robert (Catherine) Kramble; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Elise was born and grew up in Transcona. She worked as a letter sorter for Canada Post and enjoyed the companionship of her coworkers. She enjoyed life, especially travelling, shopping (shoes) and camping at Lilac Resort. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother. Honorary pallbearers are David Smith, Paul Smith, Peter Smith, Terry Lawrie, C-J Dykstra and Rob Scott. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the medical and health care providers who, in the hospital or at Brian and Elises home compassionately served, supported and comforted the family during the many challenging times that were faced in the course of Elises illness; Brians parents, Nelson and Edna Smith, Terry and Pat Lawrie and Doris for their continued support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elises memory to the Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Viewing will take place on Monday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Rd. A memorial service to celebrate Elises life will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m. also at Green Acres Funeral Chapel. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
