LESLIE WHITTAKER LOWE Leslie was born July 7, 1928 in Winnipeg, MB and passed away on May 17, 2002 in Edmonton. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Dorothy (nee Love) of 49 years; son Lance: daughter Alison and her husband John Girhiny; and grandchildren, Leah and Adam all of Edmonton. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim Moody, Jack Love, Phyllis Love and Garnet and Shirley Love and their families of Portage la Prairie, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Charles Lowe, father and mother-in-law, William and Betty Love, Anne Moody, Peggy Love and George Love. Les joined the Hudson Bay Company in Winnipeg at the age of 17 and was later transferred to Edmonton. After 40 years with "The Bay" he retired in 1985 as regional department manager. Leslie was laid to rest on May 21 in the Glenwood Memorial Garden in Sherwood Park, AB.
