WALTER ALBERT WICK August 29, 1924 - May 29, 2002 Walter passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He leaves his loving wife Jean, of 55 years, and only son Jim; sister-in-law Linda (Bob) McKillop, and three nephews, Barry (Pat), Bob (Marilyn) and Ron Bird, cousins, friends and pet Brandy. Walter was a loving husband and father. He was a gentle man with a witty, dry sense of humour and infectious laugh. Walter served in the navy (1942 - 1945), and was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He worked as a steamfitter for 38 years until his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed his cabin at Grand Marais and many holidays with his family. He was an avid football fan. Cremation has taken place. At Walters request, service and interment will take place when he is once again joined by his wife. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Riverview 3 East for all their loving care.
