DUNCAN McAULAY Duncan was born in Glasgow, Scotland January 20, 1932. He passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Monday, June 3, 2002. Our dear Duncan is greatly missed by his loving wife Betty; sons, Brian (Eleanor), Fraser, Stuart (Sharon), Andrew (Alison), and Alistair (Kathy) and grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren, Devin, Alex, Rachel and Lindsay. Duncan also leaves behind brothers, Adam, Ian (Cecile), Charlie (Jean) and Andy. Duncan was sadly predeceased by his granddaughter Elizabeth Joyce; father Adam; mother Anne; sister Helen; brother Archie; sister Margaret and sister Nancy. Golf and especially curling were Duncans favourite activities and were highlighted by being elected president of the Fort Rouge Curling Club and most recently with the recognition of his friends and peers through the award of a Lifetime Membership at the Fort Rouge Curling Club and also the Past Presidents Association of Manitoba. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Flowers are gratefully declined, however a donation may be made in Duncans memory to Cancercare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON109, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Pat Harris and the lovely ladies of the fourth floor west of the Grace Hospital for their tender care.
