KATHLEEN ELIZABETH TYLER (GALE/MYRON) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kathleen Tyler on June 2, 2002 at Concordia Hospital. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret (Roger) Mason, Linda (Harry) Webster, Bev Sherwood (Bill Perrault), Sharon (Ray) Wery, Richard (Pat) Myron, Lois Northcliffe, Gaylene (Lou) Buccino. She will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren and their spouses and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy, Nellie and Irene and brothers, Bill and Fred as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her first husband, Edwin Myron; her second husband, Percival Tyler; daughter Brenda and son Kenneth. Also by her sisters, Lillian, Ethel and Phyllis and brothers, Ed, Bob and Berkley. Kay was born into a large family in Transcona, where she continued to live and raise her own family. She had many friends throughout her life and enjoyed the companionship of her bingo friends. In recent years, she especially cherished her evening walks and friendship with Margaret. The family wishes to express our gratitude to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their kindness and compassion during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow at Transcona Cemetery.
