DONNA ELLEN MURRAY Peacefully, at home with her family at her side, Donna passed away on June 2, 2002 at the age of 63. Donna will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her husband George; son Michael (Christine), daughter Linda (Stephen) Sisson, son Garry and her cherished grandchildren, Ariel and Michael. Also mourning her passing is her brother Gary (Lu Verne) Watchorn; sister Corrine (Bill) Coates; brothers-in-law, Jake (Terry), Paul (Noreen) and David (Emily) sisters-in-law, Jeanette Murray, Diane Sawicki and Bernice (Guy) Belisle; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruel and Ina Watchorn; brother Elvin; and sister Joan (Emile) Cyrenne. Donna was a loving and devoted wife and mother, a thoughtful person who would put the needs of her family and friends before those of her own. Many will miss her warmth and hospitality. At Donnas request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. Donna and her family would like to thank her close friends Margaret Barton, Doreen Sylvester, Irene Tymkiw, Hazel Anderson and Sherry Neufeld. A special thank you to Dave and Emily for your support, to hospice friend Ellen, the palliative care team, doctors and staff at CancerCare, Womens Hospital and Dr. David Breckman. Thank you also to all those who have sent flowers, cards and phone calls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around you, And whispered "Come with Me". So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. "WE LOVE YOU MOM YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US" Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
