Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR JAMES CARTER On Monday, June 3, 2002, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Arthur James Carter, aged 88 years, of Clandeboye, MB. Arthur is survived by his wife Gladys; daughter Judy (Allan) Cartman of Winnipeg; son Rod and his children, Joann (Michael) Loney of Emo, ON, Shelley (Phil) Schofield of MacKenzie, BC, and Wanda of Ottawa; one great-grandaughter Emily Loney; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, five sisters, infant son Bruce and daughter-in-law Annie. Arthur and Gladys were married for 60 years and together raised their family in Petersfield where they farmed for many years. In 1981, they retired to Clandeboye. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Georges Wakefield Anglican Church with Rev. Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Interment will follow in the Churchyard cemetery. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the Selkirk EMT, Dr. Lindenschmidt and Dr. Nisbet for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248 Stn.
