MICHAEL (TIMOTHY GARY GURNIAK) GARRETT On Tuesday, June 4, 2002 our beloved son and brother, Michael Garrett (Timothy Gary Gurniak) peacefully passed away after a lengthy struggle with multiple sclerosis. He was a beautiful and loving young man. His generosity, sense of humour and gentle nature will be missed by many especially at the Luther Home where he resided for the last 9 years. Michael was predeceased by his father Tony Gurniak in 1978. Michael is survived by his loving mother Pauline Gurniak; siblings, Patrick, Sandra, Richard, Stephanie, Robert, Gerald and Jacqueline; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. with Msgr. Maurice Coumeault, P.H.V.F., officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brian Williams, Archie McDonald, Jim Nickarz, Michael Karpenko, Darcy Chihonik and David Horbas. Our family would like to thank the numerous health care professionals and clergy who attended to Michael in his final hours.
