ERNEST MARTIN KIRKWOOD The family of Ernest Martin Kirkwood sadly announces his sudden passing on May 29, 2002 at his home in Edmonton. Dad was born February 19, 1936 in Bells Hill, Scotland and moved at a young age to Belfast, N. Ireland. In 1967, he and his family emigrated to Canada and took up residence in Winnipeg, MB. He lived there for many years before moving to Edmonton, AB. Ernie (Kirk) is survived by his three children, Margaret, Ann, and Joe, and their families; his brother Mark Kirkwood (London, England) as well as his niece, nephews, and cousins in N. Ireland. He was fortunate to have found many good friends in Edmonton who will greatly miss him. He will also be missed by other friends and relatives in various parts of the world. A service will be held at Conley McKinley, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB on Wednesday, June 5 at 3:00 p.m.
