DORA LUDWICK (nee MARTEL) Dora passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at Foyer Valade. Dora leaves us to join her husband Michael Ludwick in heaven. Dora and Michael lived a full life and nurtured four children along the way. Dora was born on August 16, 1922. She was one of seven children of Oliva and Eugene Martel: Romeo Martel, Lucien Martel, Juliette Perron, Armand Martel, Andre Martel and Paul Martel. Left to cherish her memory are Doras four children, Roger, Richard, Eugene and Linda. Grandmere also leaves seven grandchildren, David, Michael, Cathy, Susan, Dallas, Teralynn and Evan; plus two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Ethan. Foyer Valade was Doras home for the last 10 years. Doras children are most appreciative of the excellent medical and social services provided to Dora by the staff of Foyer Valade. Prayers are at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, at St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place.
