CARL EDWARD WATERLOO MAGNUSSON March 27, 1941 - June 2, 2002 Suddenly at his residence, on Sunday, June 2, 2002 Dad left us to join Mom on the other side. Although well miss him terribly we know hell be happy to be with Mom and the others. Dad was predeceased by Mom (Norma - 1999), his parents, Ed and Helga; brother Tom, brothers-in-law, Steini Vigfusson, Ole Leirdahl, and Russ Hanslip; and his father-in-law Norman McLeod. He leaves to mourn two sons, Gar and Rorie (Leanne) and their son Rylan; one daughter Bonnie Carrette and her children, Andy, Stasha, Marion, Juanita, and Alicia; his sisters, Juno (Gar), Eleanor, Yvon, Vivian (Lynn), and Lorraine; sister-in-law Diane; very special friends, Bert, Bonnie, and Skuli Sigurdson; his mother-in-law Adrienne McLeod; sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was a jack-of-all trades. He worked on construction for many years and did a great deal of carpentry work. He was very particular in his work - a regular "Mr. Fix-It" whether it was plumbing, electrical or mechanical. It was Mom and Dads wish to be buried together at the same time. Therefore interment of their cremains will take place at the Lundar Cemetery on Saturday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Sharon and Bill Lussier. All attending are considered honorary pallbearers. A celebration of Dads life will be held at the Lundar Legion following interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lundar Day Cares New Building Fund. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Day Care or CIBC, Lundar, MB, R0C 1Y0.
