Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MARCUS On Friday, May 24 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, Mary passed away peacefully at the age of 98 years. Mary was born on January 8, 1904 in Berzpils, Latvia. She immigrated to Canada with her husband John Lapin in September, 1928, settling in the last homestead in Lettonia (near Lac du Bonnet) shortly thereafter. Mary was predeceased by her husbands, John Lapin in 1960 and Oscar Marcus in 1964. Left to mourn her passing are sons, Robert Marcus and Harold (Marion) Marcus in B.C. and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, June 7. The family would like to thank Dr. Beaumont, Dr. Van Gend and all the staff at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home for their kindness, care and dignity shown to Mary during her many years at the residency. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution in Marys memory may be made to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, Box 1030, Lac du Bonnet R0E 1A0 or a charity of ones choice.
