ROBERT "JAMES" KRUSKOWSKI It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of James on Sunday, June 2, 2002. James was born on July 20, 1968 in Thunder Bay, ON, where he grew up and was raised by his grandmother Mary and father Bob. He then moved to Winnipeg where he met and fell in love with his wife and best friend Lori. On February 27, 1991, James and Lori became the proud parents of their son Andrew Robert James Kruskowski. James had a very unique sense of humour and could always make us laugh. He enjoyed camping and of course brought along his many gadgets. James absolutely loved to cook. He created many fabulous meals for his family and friends (especially the 5-alarm chili!). How can we sum up the many special qualities of James in just a few words? We cannot. James was predeceased by his mother Sharon Atkinson, sister Kimberly Ann and grandmother Mary Kruskowski. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lori and son Andrew; father Bob Kruskowski; brother Stephen (Tracy) Ringos and their children, Nicole and Mitchell; sister Kerry Altomare and nephew Giliseppe; father-in-law Sig Brandt; mother and father-in-law, Frieda and Ron Brereton; sister-in-law Kelly Brandt and nephew Matthew; brother-in-law Tom (Deann) Brereton and nephew Kyle; brother-in-law Ron (Karen) Brereton and nieces, Tavia and Amy; sister-in-law Jo-Anne (Pat) McNeil and nieces, Taylor and Sarah; and numerous relatives and friends. Lori and Andrew are so grateful for all the love, compassion, thoughts and prayers during this time. Thank you to all of our family and friends; we are so fortunate to have your support. James, you have touched so many lives and we thank you for all of the wonderful memories. We love you and will miss you every single day. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A private family interment will follow at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in memory of James can be made by going to the TD Canada Trust, Niakwa Branch, 14 Alpine Ave., and placing a donation in trust for Andrew Kruskowski through the account of Jo-Anne and Pat McNeil. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550 \r
