LLOYD PINKERTON Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Lloyd passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at the Grace General Hospital in his 64th year. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 36 years; sons, Melvin (Pat) and Kenneth (Liz) grandchildren, Ashley and James; step grandchildren, Christine, Cheryl, Kathleen and Richard, as well as nine step great-grandchildren. Lloyd was predeceased by his daughter Myrna-Jean in 1968 and his parents. Lloyd was born June 12, 1938 in Holmfield, MB, joining the CN Railway in 1954 until the fall of 1968. In January 1969, he started working for the Souris Valley School Division as a custodian at Wawanesa School and later driving a school bus until he became ill in December 1989. In October of 1991, Lloyd and Margaret moved from Wawanesa to take up residence in Winnipeg. A private graveside service will be held in Holmfield Cemetery in Holmfield, MB on Saturday, June 8.
