ROGER A. SENECAL, CA Peacefully, Tuesday, June 4, in Ottawa, Roger Arthur Senecal, aged 69. Beloved husband of Jeannine Millier. Devoted and loving father of Rene, Claude, Paul (Laura) and Simone (Fred Black). Cherished grandfather of Chantal, Melissa, Christopher and Stephanie. Brother of Doris (Leo Verreault), Gertrude Rowan, Jeannette (Alphonse Durand), Maurice (Olive) and Irene (Normand Grondin). Brother-in-law of Yolande (John Paquin), Claire (Paul Bourrier), Daniel (Alice), Roger (Liliane), Lucille (the late Val) and the late Adrian. Roger, a chartered accountant retired from the public service, after 35 years. Roger was an active volunteer in the Gloucester community. For more than 30 years Roger was a proud member of the Gloucester Hockey Association executive. Other contributions include his work with the Ottawa Gloucester Sports Club, the Gloucester Rangers Junior "A" team and the Laurier Manor. Roger loved people, enjoyed life and found great pleasure working with fellow volunteers, players, coaches and the numerous friends made over the years. A special thanks to the staff at the Montfort Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Saturday to Annunciation of the Lord Church (Ottawa) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. A memorial service to follow in St. Boniface at a later date.
