FRANK WEISZ January 29, 1932 - June 4, 2002 On Tuesday, June 4, 2002, our beloved husband, father, grandpa and papa passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 70 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lois; daughters, Carolee Leavitt (Roy) and grandsons, Stephen, Drake and Bryce; Christine Campbell (Shawn) and granddaughter Madalyn; Debra and only son David. Frank joined the Winnipeg Fire Department, October 1, 1957. He was promoted to Lieutenant May 13, 1984, and then promoted to Captain August 2, 1987. Frank was presented with an exemplary service medal on his March 21, 1992 retirement. He enjoyed spending time at his home away from home, the Oasis Beach. Frank was also a member of Branch No. 81 Legion. In compliance with Franks wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. A special thanks is extended to all our family and friends for your support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Franks memory may be made to the Firefighters Burn Fund Inc., 202 - 666 St. James St., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 3J6, or a charity of ones choice. Help me embrace a little child Before it is too late Or save an older person From the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert and Hear the weakest shout To quickly and efficiently Put the fire out. I want to fill my calling And to give the best in me To guard my every neighbour And protect his property.
