PAT BERARD It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pat Berard, of Ste. Anne-des-Chenes, MB, at the age of 63 years. Pat will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 35 years Yvonne (nee Pelletier) his sons, Andre, Paul (Christine) and Claude; and his granddaughter Sydnye. Also mourning are his brothers, Armand (Shirley) and Dennis; his sisters, Camille (Leo Renaud) and Cecile Mistlebacker; his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gregoire and Elizabeth (nee Rowan) and his sister Lorraine. Pat worked for 34 years at the Department of Highways. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and going for coffee with his buddies. He was very proud of his three sons and his eyes shone with joy when he played with Sydnye. The family would like to sincerely thank the firefighters, paramedics and police for all their help and assistance. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Rene Chartier presiding. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
