NETTIE DELAUNAY Peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Concordia Hospital, Nettie Delaunay, aged 77 years of Winnipeg. Nettie was born near Lonesand, MB on September 13, 1924 where she was raised and educated. She later moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Marcel Delaunay. Nettie worked several years in a sewing factory before retiring due to ill health. Left to cherish Netties memory are her sister Nellie (Leonard), numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel in 1990, parents, Harry and Ferona Mydaniuk (nee Rutka) infant siblings, Ann, Harry, Peter, and Jenny; brothers, Bill, John, Steve, and Matt; and sisters, Mary, Rosie, and Frances. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Rev. M. Krochak officiating. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10 also at the chapel with Rev. M Gnutel officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter Lapusniak, Jim Bartman, Lanard Zushman, Nestor Chubaty, Mark Zacharias, and Jeremy Chubaty.
