Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH KOMODOWSKI (nee MARTENS) November 4, 1918 - June 4, 2002 We sadly announce that Elizabeth Komodowski passed away at 11:00 p.m. at the Concordia General Hospital. For the past three and a half years she resided at the Kildonan Personal Care Home at 1970 Henderson Hwy. Many thanks to all there for their interest, patience and caring and also to the hospital and staff at Concordia. Elizabeth was born in Altona, MB. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg and was pre-deceased by her husband Walter in 1982. She leaves to mourn one sister Margaret; two brothers, David and Ed; son Bob, his children Terry and Sherry; daughter Georgina and her son Kenneth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was deeply religious and loved her faith, seeking knowledge about it throughout her life. Her compassionate nature led her to contribute to many charities, trying to help those who were less fortunate in their lives. Betty will be missed in all our lives for many different reasons but mostly because we all loved her very much. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Gordon Fulford officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service. "Rest in peace, Mom and sister, and thanks for everything. God hold you close and love you." Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
