VALERIE M. DONAGHY (nee KELLBERG) July 15, 1918 - June 7, 2002 On June 7, 2002, Valerie Donaghy passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 84 years. Valerie will be sadly missed by her sister Hilda Allin of Dryden, ON; her brother Irvin Kellberg of Duncan, BC; her sister-in-law Elsie Kellberg of Ear Falls, ON; her friends, Vivian and Dennett Arnold of Winnipeg; and her nieces and nephew and their families, Gail Wisted of Detroit Lakes, Murray Sidorow of Winnipeg, Sharyn Leschuk of Ear Falls and Val Kellberg of Winnipeg. Valerie was born in Dryden, ON and moved to Winnipeg at age 16 to begin her hairdressing career. Valerie enjoyed entertaining, getting together with her friends and was known for her kindness, generosity and willingness to listen. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1989. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made in Valeries memory to the Victoria General Hospital or the Manitoba Cancer Society. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. A brief service will be held on Tuesday June 11 at 11:00 a.m., at Garry Memorial Park (Pembina and Waverley). THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
