JOHNNIE RUTH GLOWE Johnnie Ruth Glowe aged 80 years, was born in Cohutta, GA on January 5, 1922. She died at approximately 4:00 p.m., June 5, 2002 at The Beacon Hill Lodge. She is survived by her husband Matthew, and one sister, Barbara Keith Jr. of Chattanooga, TN, plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Johnnie was a bank teller by profession and was highly respected by all with whom she worked for her conscientious and diligent application to her duties. She and Matthew were hoping to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary this coming July 10th. All in all, she was an excellent homemaker, wonderful cook and true helpmate. She was indeed a fine lady, loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. Thomson Funeral Chapels are in charge of arrangements where, according to her wishes, cremation will take place, followed by a memorial service to be held at Broadway Disciples United Church, 396 Broadway, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday June 10, where the Rev. Dr. Raymond Cuthbert will conduct the services and give the eulogy. Flowers are gratefully declined.
