PEARL LYNNE DOROTHY KING (nee NOBESS) Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, Pearl passed away at the age of 40 years, at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Pearl will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by her only daughter Roslyn; sisters, Mary Van Vliet (Ed), Darlene Burns (Bob), Tina Kyte (Chris), Kim Smith (Ed), Roslyn Page and Rita Nobess and Hermann. Also, brothers, Rod Nobess, Ron Nobess (Jean), Emile Nobess (Diana), Lawrence Nobess (Harriet), Curtis Woerlee and Melvin Fast; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Louis (Dick) Nobess, Dorothy Woerlee; and her brother Fernand Nobess. She was born and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. Her greatest treasure and priority was her daughter Roslyn. Pearl also enjoyed family gatherings, no matter what the occasion, Pearl always had a helping hand. She loved to laugh and joke around. Her unique laugh always brought a smile to anyones face. Pearl made everyone feel at home. Shed welcome new friends with open arms. Pearl also enjoyed bowling, bingo and loved to dance. She loved cooking, especially on special occasions. Pearl was a strong woman, shed surpass anything that came her way. She was kindhearted and special in so many different ways, to anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 9 at 3:30 p.m., viewing prior to service starting at 2:30 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Msgr. Maurice Comeault P.H., V.F., officiating. Cremation will follow. Private family interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. Words cannot express our gratitude for all the exceptional and loving care that Pearl received from the staff on the 7th and 8th floors at the Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital. A very special thank you goes out to Laurie Mustard for making a little miracle happen. Special thanks from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who have donated to the Roslyn King Trust Fund. You dont know how happy and relived youve made my sister Pearl feel. Youve helped to ease her mind in making sure her daughters future is stable With that in mind, Pearl was able to fall asleep, and rest in peace. Thank you again and I love you all. Rita Nobess.
