NELLIE MORE Peacefully, on June 7, 2002, Nellie More passed away at her residence, Riverside Lions Estate, at the age of 86 years. Nell was born in Melnice, MB on February 6, 1916. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years Dave in 1971, by her parents, Anton and Annie Ksionzek; brothers, Joe and Charlie; sisters, Mary Zilinski, Stella Bowles, Eva Jones, and Margaret Srutwa. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, sisters Rose Spulnick and Helen Lucyshen; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Nell was a member of Regents Park United Church for 40 years and a life time member of the Riverside Lionelles where she devoted many years of service. Nells knitting and crocheting was a beautiful work of art and was appreciated and enjoyed by all. She enjoyed residing at the Lions Estates from the time it was built until her passing. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. with Juanita Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Nells pallbearers will be Larry Spulnick, Brett and Scott Spulnick, Brent Spulnick, Victor Srutwa and Daryl Lucyshen. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations in Nells memory may be made to the Riverside Lions Estate Personal Care Home Fund, 188 Worthington St., Winnipeg, R2M 5K1. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
