Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ERNEST MUNRO After a full life, in his 89th year, Bill Munro, born in Winnipeg, April 19, 1914, passed away quietly on June 3, 2002, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, with his family at his side. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 53 years, Lillian Jean; and his children, Gary (Wendy), Connie (Joe McKendy), and Paul (Diane). Grandpa to Geoffrey, Brendan, Christopher and Colleen; great-grandfather to Jerzey. Survived by sister-in-law Irene of Winnipeg. Predeceased by parents, James and Louise; brothers, Kenneth and Leslie; sisters, Jean McDowell and Jessie Page. Bill will also be missed by his extended families in Toronto, Winnipeg and elsewhere and by his many long time friends at the Church of the Atonement in Alderwood. Bill served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the Second World War and worked for many years for the Metro Toronto Police. Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 6 at the Anglican Church of the Atonement, 256 Sheldon Ave., Toronto, ON followed by interment in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Church of the Atonement or to a charity of your choice. \r
