ANNETTA ROSS Annetta Ross, aged 92 years, passed away peacefully and with dignity, at the Beausejour Hospital on Friday, June 7, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Jim (Marlene) of Dugald and six grandchildren, Keith, Richard (Christine), Liane (Ed), Marjorie (Bruce), Penny (Gilbert), and Treasure (Brian) and their mother Jean; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1961, her son Donald in 1993, and her grandson Douglas in 1966. Mom was a very active woman, playing organ for the United Church for 65 years. She was the last founding member of the Rossmere Ladies Club. She travelled widely, but her heart was always on the farm. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 10, which would be her 93rd birthday, at 2:00 p.m. at the Oakbank United Church, Oakbank, MB with Rev. Dawn Ballentine-Dixon officiating. A private interment of cremains will take place at the Old Kildonan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Oakbank United Church or a charity of ones choice.
