HILDA AMALIA WORSTER Peacefully on June 8, 2002, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Predeceased by her mother Molly; father Alex; and sister Emily; she leaves to mourn her memory "her kids and grandkids," Glenn and Gisele (Lyle, Julie and Katelyn), Pat and John (Kirstin), lifelong friend Bertha (Walter), many cousins and friends. Hilda devoted her time to her "kids," "grandkids," her church and community. Selfless, she gave of herself all her life, always doing for others before herself. Her faith and dedication carried her through endless hours of volunteering and supporting her church, Habitat for Humanity, choir, Sunday school and knitting hundreds of sweaters for the mitten tree. Heartfelt thanks to all the nurses and aids at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and kindness. Her special bond with her "kids" and "grandkids" will be sadly missed. A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 12, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Hildas memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S9, or Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
