CHRISTOPHER NEIL (ABRAHAM) COURCHENE July 8, 1977 - June 7, 2002 Tragically on Friday, June 7, 2002 Christopher Neil Courchene, at the age of 24 years, passed away as a result of a house fire. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son Theron and mother Gail Courchene and stepchildren, Lawrence and Clements. Also surviving are parents, Christine (Abraham) Courchene, Edward Neil Courchene and stepmother Darlene; sisters, Katherine (June) Courchene and Cassie Daniels; as well as grandparents, Wallace Abraham, Catherine Courchene; great-grandmother Christina Dorie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Christopher was predeceased by his great-grandfather Sidney Dorie; grandmother Virginia Abraham; grandfather Edward Courchene; and Maurice and Sarah Courchene. Wake services will be held at the Christ Church Anglican, Fort Alexander, MB beginning Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. also from Christ Church Anglican, with Rev. Nancy Bruyere officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Courchene, Douglas Starr, Preston Courchene, Joseph Abraham, Phil Fontaine and Richard Goosehead.
