Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE MAY SANBURN (nee DIPPLE) With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Alice May Sanburn, on Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Portage District General Hospital, Portage la Prairie, at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, Alice leaves to cherish her memory her son Brian (Marion) Sanburn of Winnipeg; daughter Lynne (George) Scott of Portage la Prairie, daughter Lorna (Lorne) Preston of Thompson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Pearl Horn of Winnipeg; and brother Jim Dipple of Portage la Prairie; along with many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will take place Thursday, June 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity United Church, with Rev. Ross Taylor officiating. Interment is to follow at Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Alices memory to Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper St. S., Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 1W7, or Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0K8. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Alice by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021.
