He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Linda and Lloyd Stevenson; sister Lisa (Kevin), whom he cherished and adored; loving children, Kristin Sinclair, Austin and Christian Sanderson; special nieces, Brittany, Heather, Megan, and Dayna; longtime special friend and soul mate Vanessa Sinclair. He will be sadly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Stewart was predeceased by his aunt Doreen Stevenson, cousin Sean Stevenson, uncle Vern Stevenson, and grandfather Bethuel Stevenson. We were blessed with Stewart on March 11, 1978, and he was raised on Peguis First Nation. At the time of his passing he was employed by L.J.S. Midway. Stewart had the type of personality that people, at times even strangers, were drawn to. He was loved and respected for his warm and caring ways. He had a great sense of humour and often shared his silly jokes and funny imitations. He treasured his family and close friends. He loved and admired his Uncle Seymour. They were inseparable and shared many happy moments together. He spoke fondly of his cousin Norman and Auntie Dim. Special thanks to Jaqueline Flett and girls for sharing a part of Stewarts life. Your love and friendship meant a lot to him. The family would like to express thanks to Peguis Chief and Council, Percy E. Moore staff, Fisher Ambulance and the many people who offered their help and assistance. Your love and support is greatly appreciated.
