FABIOLA MARIE JULIETTE TURCOTTE (nee DESROSIERS) 1921 - 2002 Peacefully on June 9, 2002, at St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her side, Fabiola passed away at the age of 81. Her family, husband Gerard; daughters, Monique, Lise and Gisele; her sisters, Jeanne Stragier and Lucille Toupin; and her brother Jean will miss her. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Marie-Antoinette; as well as her siblings, Anna Mulaire, Donat, Antonio, Emilio, Rose Desrosiers and Aline Desaulniers. Fabiola worked mostly as a secretary for Great West Life Insurance Company and later for the St. Boniface School Division. She was renowned for her love of singing. She sang both professionally, as well as for pastoral services. A special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface Hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at St. Boniface Cathedral, 200 ave. Cathedrale. Reception and interment will follow.
