ERNEST GEORGE PARKER 1912 - 2002 At Lions Personal Care Centre, Sunday, June 9, 2002, Ernie passed away peacefully at the age of 90. He was born January 17, 1912, in The Pas, MB. He will be missed by his son Craig (Krys) grandson Scott; sister Bertha; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his friends at Lions. Ernie was predeceased in May of 1998 by his wife of 47 years, June. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Fred, Maurice and Albert. Ernie retired from Kane Equipment in the late 1970s, where he worked as a mechanic. He loved fixing machines, and helping people out of trouble. He continued working in retirement only stopping in the last five years. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. His family would like to thank the terrific people at Lions Manor and Personal Care Centre where he made his home for the last four years.
