Offer Condolences or MemoryGWENDOLINE DOROTHY GULLIVAN (nee CLOUTER) (WALDEN) Peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at the Oakview Nursing Home, Gwendoline passed away at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Thomas Walden, and her second husband Harry Gullivan, and daughter-in-law Karen. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Fred Walden (Rose), Howard Walden, and John Walden (Marianne) grandchildren, Jeff Walden (Susie), Alison Walden, Heather Walden, Leigh-Ann Walden, Andrea Walden, Tim Walden, Andrew Walden and Matthew Walden. Mom was a tireless worker and built a successful Avon business and later was a valued employee, working for Campbells Pharmacy. She was a diligent mother, who always put her family first. Mom was also an accomplished pianist and a gifted bridge player. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 15 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave., with the Rev. Ian Mills officiating. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 1 East at Navin Road. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bowman, Hans Kolossa, Colin Lloyd, Jeff, Tim and Andrew Walden. Gwens family greatly appreciates the care she received by the staff at Oakview Nursing Home, also her many friends from Messiah Lutheran Church and Oakview Place, for their genuine friendship to her.
