Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE KENNEDY After a lengthy illness, Olive Kennedy, 92 years, was graciously welcomed into the presence of the Lord in the early hours of June 11, 2002. She was born to Joseph and Nellie Maloney on June 1, 1910, at Oakville, MB. She married Earl in 1930 and they spent their lives in Portage la Prairie and Brandon and in Winnipeg at Lions Place. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in September of 2000. Due to deteriorating health she was admitted to Deer Lodge Centre. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Earl in 2000; son Ray in 2001; daughters-in-law, Margaret and Bareth; and son-in-law Joseph Stack; also by her brothers, William, Clarence and Alvin; and sisters, Alice and Ella. Olive is survived by her daughter Doreen Stack; sons, Harvey (Henderika), Russell, Murray (Phyllis) daughter-in-law Francine; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grand-children; sisters, Vera and Sarah. Mother will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. A special thank-you to Home Care workers at Lions Place and staff on 3 and 4 West at Deer Lodge Centre.
