JOSEPH THEOPHIL CZUBATY "Gone Fishing" It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the loss of our dear husband, father, brother, and Gigi Joe. On Wednesday, June 12, 2002, the light of our life passed on to be with Our Heavenly Father. Joe was born April 6, 1934 and spent his preschool years in Sundstum, ON and later in Winnipeg. His living memory will be cherished by his wife of 42 years Ann L. (Dmytriw), son Joseph and his daughter Angele, daughter Catherine-Ann (Peter), Matthew, Michael, Rebecca, and James, and daughter Michelle Alexandra (Randy), Jessy, Austin, and Victoria, brother Alec (Anne), and cousin Myron Hawrylak (Fort Francis, ON). His father Theophoile (1965), mother Vincenta (1974), and an infant brother interned in Europe predeceased him. He was a devoted family man. He was also a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Catholic Church. He enjoyed his many friends and associates, favourite annual fishing trips, gourmet cooking, and garlic growing. Whether he was downtown shopping or travelling out of the country, he always ran into a familiar face and shared a kind word. Coming from humble beginnings he became a successful and respected colleague in the hospitality industry. He achieved this through hard work and perseverance. The family would like to thank our many dear friends for their support and the many acts of kindness, love, compassion, thoughts, and prayers during Joes illness. A Celebration of Josephs Life will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 17 at Corpus Christi Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy., Narol, MB. Cards only please. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Joe and Alec owned the hotel where I worked as a waiter in the pub. It was one of the best jobs I ever had and Joe was one of the best bosses. The hotel no longer exists but my memories will last forever. - Posted by: Richard Lane (Former employee at the Charleswood Motor Hotel) on: Sep 28, 2022
