Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM WITYSHYN With great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather William (Bill) Wityshyn on Saturday, June 15, 2002 at the age of 83. Dads memory will be forever cherished by his wife Pearl of 57 years; daughters, Gloria (John) LaPorte, Isabel (Lawrence) Kruk, Marilyn; son Larry; daughter Sylvia (David) Yablonski; nine grandchildren, Derek (fiancee Angela) and Nicole LaPorte, Mark (Tami), Joey, Jennifer and Michelle Kruk, Alicia, Victoria and Rebecca Yablonski; two sisters, May Sowa, Ann (Nick) Mudry; three brothers, John (Olga), Steve (Eva) and Stan; also numerous nieces and nephews. Dad, the eldest of six children, was born in the Polson district on December 28, 1918. After he married Mom they farmed in the Polson district where he was involved with their church and community hall, always ready for any job that needed to be done. Dad and Mom retired to Teulon in 1975 where he was a custodian at the Teulon - Rockwood Centennial Centre for 11 years. Dad enjoyed playing cards and picking mushrooms and berries. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Polson, MB. Rev. Fr. P. Chorney will officiate with interment to follow in the Polson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Mudry, Greg Chic, Mark Kruk, Joey Kruk, Doug Wityshyn, Ray Sowa. Till we meet again Vichnaya Pamyat MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
