PETER STEVE SMOOK Peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2002, at Devon, AB, Peter Steve Smook passed away at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Iola in 1993, Peter leaves behind his son Larry; and grandchildren, Adrienne, Patrick and Nancy all of Devon; his brothers, William and Joseph both from Ontario; along with several nieces and nephews. On Tuesday evening, June 18 there will be prayers at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys la Prairie Anglican Church with The Rev. Norman Collier officiating. Interment is to follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Portage la Prairie. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Peters memory to St. Marys la Prairie Anglican Church, 36 2nd St. S.W., Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 2A1. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Peter by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021.
