MARY A. L. WISE (HEMMEON) On June 16, 2002 our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 88 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Sydney J. Wise in 1974. She is survived by her loving daughter Kerry Acland; son-in-law Brian; her grandchildren, Andrew Acland (Terry), Susan Robitbulkloadaille (Mark) and her great-grandson David Acland. Mary enjoyed a long and healthy life until the last few years when she faced many health challenges. She was a long time member of St. Pauls Anglican Church, Fort Garry where over the years she was very involved in the community of her church. A very special place for her was Victoria Beach where she spent every summer since she was ten years of age. She said it was her refuge throughout her life. Her family and friends will cherish many happy memories at Victoria Beach where she made the family cottage a special place to stay. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 at St. Pauls Anglican Church, corner of Point Road and North Drive, Fort Garry, the Rev. Canon Peter Flynn officiating. The family would like to extend many thanks to the very caring and supportive staff at Riverview Health Centre especially the staff on CD3. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C OS6 or to a charity of your choice.
