ROSE ZIMMER Peacefully in her sleep, Rose passed away on June 10, 2002 at Holy Family Nursing Home. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Natalia (Guy) Jubinville of Winnipeg, Jeanette (Dave) LaCroix of Mississippi, United States, Shirley Olson of Winnipeg; two grandchildren, Dale (Gina) LaCroix of Michigan, United States, Shelley (Barry) Woloshyn of Saskatoon, SK; three great-grandchildren, David LaCroix, Mitchell and Nicole Woloshyn; one sister Nellie McArter of Calgary, AB; several nieces and nephews. Also her very special friends, Iona and Mac MacDonald. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1963; stepfather in 1958; mother in 1972; son-in-law Donald Olson in 1989; three brothers, Donald, Mickey and John Kosedy; brother-in-law Mowbray McArter; sisters-in-law, Vivian and Josephine Kosedy. Mum was born in 1911. She was raised and educated in Saskatchewan. She met and married John in 1930. They settled in Whitewood, SK where they lived until her husbands death. She moved to Winnipeg and obtained employment at the Misericordia Hospital where she worked until her retirement in 1977. After her retirement, she did a variety of volunteer services for approximately 10 years, which she really enjoyed. Mum will be remembered by her friends for her wit and humourous personality; she always had a story to tell and truly enjoyed people. She will always be lovingly thought of by her grandchildren for her storytelling and great fairy-tale imagination. Because of her love for reading, she could always be found with her nose in a book. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Holy Family Nursing Home with a special thanks to the nursing and care staff of St. Francis ward for their kindness. In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. A very special thanks to all our friends for the help they gave us, their consideration, care and visits which brightened Mothers days. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
