DOROTHY "DOT" TUCK (nee KJARTANSON) Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 18, 2002, Dorothy Tuck, 83 years, beloved wife of Roy passed away at the Grace Hospital. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Roy; daughter Barbara Tokarz; granddaughter Christina and her father Michael Tokarz; siblings, Gwen Jackett, Vivian Stunden, Hazel (Mac) MacLeod, Helen (Vern) Plett and John; sisters-in-law, Gerry Kjartanson and Doris Kjartanson; brother-in-law Jim Clark; and their families and many friends. She was predeceased by siblings, Jule (Grace), Kjartan, Evelyn Clark and Terry Kjartanson; brothers-in-law, Roy Jackett, Bill Stunden; sister-in-law Pat Kjartanson. Dorothy seamed fish nets for her father and later her brother, as well as Leckies and Fresh Water Fish Corporation and worked also a short time at The Bay. Dorothy loved life and enjoyed travelling, going on many trips with family and friends to Europe, U.S.A., Iceland and the Caribbean. She was a loving wife and mother, wonderful grandmother and sister, a good neighbour and mother-in-law. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Grace General Hospital for their care. Public visitation will take place Thursday, June 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as one-half hour prior to the service at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Bardal Funeral Home. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Peters and Andrew Reinart. Pallbearers will be John Jackett, Vern Plett, Henry Peters, Olaf Reinart, Eddie Schulz, Luke Boland.
