Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNATHANIEL MCDOUGALL (DOUGGIE) ASHAM On Thursday, June 20, 2002, Nathaniel McDougal Asham of Peguis First Nation, passed away at the Percy E. Moore Hospital at the age of 77 years. Mac is survived by his two sisters, Ruth Shead of Selkirk, MB, and Eva Asham of Brossard, QC; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mac was predeceased by his parents Nathaniel and Jean Asham; brothers and sisters, Ronald, Thomas, Violet, Dorothy, Patricia and Beatrice. As a young man of 18 Mac (Douggie) was badly burned in an accident at a Lake Winnipeg fishing camp. He endured a lifetime of pain and suffering. Through the pain, Mac always tried to get as much out of life as possible, and gave as much back. He was very grateful for his many friends. His kindness and generosity will be missed by his relatives and friends. The family would like to especially thank the Peguis Senior Centre residents and staff, Peguis Chief and Council, and his close friends, Delmar and Colleen Cameron. A wake service will be held on Monday, June 24 at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m.; both services will be held at the St. Mathews Anglican Church, Peguis, MB, with Rev.
