CHRISTOPHER DUBOIS It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Christopher "Doobie" Brian Dubois as the result of a tragic boating accident on June 16, 2002 at the age of 17 years. Christopher leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Noel and Pauline; his sister Brigitte; his grandfather Georges Patenaude; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother David; cousin Charlie Wiebe; grandmothers, Alice Dubois and Marguerite Patenaude and his grandfather Zephirin Dubois. Chris, affectionately known as "Fer" or "Doobie" was a socializer who gave a shy first impression but wore a mischievous smile. He loved hockey, fishing and "baroding" in his truck. The family would like to thank all the volunteers, EMO, St. Pierre RCMP, Search and Rescue, the Fire Commissioner Office, all fire departments involved and everyone who showed their love and support through this difficult time. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Joseph Choiselat in the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Monday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m. Prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass.
