DOROTHEA CLARE (BUDDY) FOSKETT On Friday, June 14, 2002 at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Buddy, aged 82 and loving wife of Stanley from Surrey, BC. Born November 8, 1919 in Winnipeg, Bud lived both at Gull Lake and Winnipeg until 1981 when she and Stan retired to Surrey, BC. In their early years Bud and Stan were active members of the MMC (Manitoba Motorcycle Club). Bud had a full social life with their many friends and family. She was a talented artist who specialized in ceramics of which she garnered many awards. The hundreds of students she taught will attest to her patience and creativity. Gull Lake was a cherished retreat for Buddy, who loved her garden and to fish in the lake for the "big one". After retirement, many winters were spent at Road Haven resort in Arizona and summers at Gull Lake until the fall of 2000. Surviving besides her husband Stan; sons, Bruce (Loretta) and John (Margret) grand-children, Doug, Simone, Eric, Kristin, Patrik, Per Olof, Lisa; and seven great-grandkids; as well as her sister Lilian Bellman of Winnipeg. Her family and many friends will sadly miss Buddy. Cremation has been taken place and a memorial service will be held at Imperial Place Retirement Home in Surrey, BC at a later date.
