RUDOLPH HOWK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rudolph Howk. After a courageous battle with cancer, Dad was taken from us by the angels on Friday, June 21, 2002 at the age of 77 years to be with our Lord. Rudy was predeceased by his loving wife Emmi of 41 years, his parents, Wilhelm and Matilda; his brothers, Walter, Bill, Albert and Harry; and his sisters, Martha, Hulda and Helen. He is sadly missed by his sons, Gary (Susan) Howk of Thunder Bay, ON, and Frank (Celeste) Howk of Winnipeg; daughters, Heidi (Ed) Boyko of Beausejour and Lorie Hastman of Winnipeg; three grandchildren, Michael Howk and Jennifer and Holly Boyko; two sisters, Linda Bushby of Thunder Bay and Elsie (Paul) Belliveau of Winnipeg; and brother John (Doreen) Howk of Thunder Bay; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour on Monday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, River Hills on Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Reimer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul and Elsie Belliveau, Walter Chezick, Siegfried Kunz, Russell and Pat Klaprat, Arnold and Betty Alstadt and Dennis Alstadt. Active pallbearers will be Gary Howk, Frank Howk, Michael Howk, Ed Boyko, Jennifer Boyko, and Holly Boyko. If friends so wish, donations in Rudys memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Beausejour Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB, ROE OCO.
