LLOYD CHESTER KAY Peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2002 Lloyd passed away at Middlechurch Home, at the age of 88 years, with his daughter by his side. Dad was predeceased by his wife Hilda (nee Collins) in 1981; his parents; brothers, Claude and Waldo; sisters, Dora and Norma; several nephews; and one niece. Dad will be greatly missed by his daughter Janet (Frank) Demski; grandchildren, Holly (Daniel) Thibodeau, Crystal; great-grandchildren, Eden, Frankie, Ethan and Brady; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends, Willy and Judy Chartrand. Lloyd was born on August 26, 1913 in Glenora District, MB, where he lived and farmed until he retired and moved to Carman, MB. Once settled he couldnt resist going back to work part-time on the land. After mothers passing he moved to Winnipeg for a short time. However, the love of the country drew him back to live in Killarney, MB, closer to his family. Later, in 1996, after some health issues I talked Dad (begrudgingly I must say) into moving back to Winnipeg so we could all help with his everyday living. Once here, he put all his usual pride and energy into his house and yard until his untimely death. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at Baldur Cemetery, Baldur, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyds memory may be made to a charity of your choice. I want to thank everyone for their love, friendship and family support, its overwhelming.
