MARGARET McCONNECHIE (GRAMMA) Mrs. Margaret McConnechie, aged 94 years of Elma, MB passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at the Pinawa Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her son Peter (Bobbie) of Winnipeg; and daughter Grace (Tony Proceviat) of Elma; granddaughters, Kathy (Willy Kuypers) of Elma, Colleen (Tim North) of Elma, and Darlene (Jason Nazar) of Prawda; great-grandchildren, Randy and Jeff Kuypers and Matthew Nazar; also her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, sisters and her husband Duncan in 1950. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m., at the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St., Winnipeg, with Rev. Jane Wetelainen officiating. A private family interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Friends may view at the chapel prior to the service. Special thanks to her homecare workers for their care and kindness, to Dr. Spence and the nurses at Beausejour and Pinawa Hospitals, and also to the Whitemouth ambulance attendants.
