VIRGINIA McTAGGART It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Virginia McTaggart on Monday, June 24, 2002 at the age of 47 years. Ginys short life was dedicated to two passions, family and church. She spent most of her time as a stay at home mother, raising her four children. When she was not busy at home raising her four boys, she was at the church, actively involved in volunteer work. After the boys had grown up, Virginia began to work part time as a catechetics coordinator at St. Bernadette Parish. Left to cherish Virginias memory are her husband Greg; her four sons, Bradley, Andrew, Adam and Ken; her parents, Sylvester and Lillian of Tolstoi, MB; her sister Margaret (Donald) Denyer and their children, Jacob, Geoffrey and Mathew, and her brother Donald Chmura of Tolstoi, MB as well as all those who knew her in Winnipeg. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ The King Church located at 847 St. Marys Rd., and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. also in Christ The King Church, with an interment to follow at the St. Vital Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to acknowledge the love and support extended to them by the parish of both Christ the King and St. Bernadette throughout her years of struggle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginias memory can be made to the Christ the King Memorial fund or St. Bernadette Parish. In care of arrangements: EDWARD J. COUTU LTD. 680 ARCHIBALD STREET 253-5086
