BENOIT NAULT 1933 - 2002 Benoit Nault of Ste. Anne, MB died suddenly but peacefully at his cottage on Sunday, June 23, 2002. Ben was born to Leonide and Zenaide on December 23, 1933 in Richer, MB. He lived in the area all of his life, close to family and friends. He met the love of his life at the age of 21 and they spent 45 years of blissful marriage. Ben worked diligently through correspondence to become a journeyman carpenter. He began his carpentry career with Grumman Construction and eventually started his own company. He continued to share his skills and talents into retirement, always willing to lend a helping hand. Many family projects are lasting tributes of his attention to detail. Benoit will be remembered for his practical jokes, "joie de vivre", sharing his love and support, his pride, his kindness, generosity and his keen interest in the lives of everyone he touched. His unfailing love and devotion as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather will be forever a cherished memory. Besides his beloved wife Reynalde, Ben will be eternally missed by his children and grandchildren, Gerald (Laura) and their children, Jeremy, Stephane, Justin and Cassandra; Jacqueline Mourant (Gary) and their children, Melanie and Angele; Brigitte Baker (Darren) and their children, Adrien (Jen), Martial, Jude, Kayla and great-granddaughter Jaden; Alain and his children, Patrick, Martin and Rielle; Marc (Treena) and their children, Sydney and Austin. A private prayer service for immediate family will be held on Wednesday, June 26. The funeral service for Benoit will be held at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB on Thursday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. Eulogy will precede the service. Those who wish may make a donation in Benoits memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3G 1S6 or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
